Follow the money on-chain.
Argos is a blockchain investigation platform for investigators and compliance teams. In production on Ethereum since 2023, deployable on your own infrastructure.
(to be supplied by the Argos team)
Investigators
Trace where funds came from and where they went, hop by hop, through contracts and mixers.
Compliance teams
Profile a counterparty address and its history before you accept or release funds.
DeFi analysts
Label arbitrage, sandwich and liquidation activity at transaction level.
What Argos does today.
Address profile
One view built from several sources: the Argos index, Blockscout, Etherscan, Sourcify and Ethplorer.
Fund-flow graph
Bipartite flow graph around an address, configurable from 1 to 10 hops.
Token approvals
Which contracts are allowed to move an address's ERC-20 tokens.
DeFi labelling
Arbitrage, sandwich and liquidation patterns detected and labelled per transaction.
Transaction replay
Opcode-level replay and gas profiling with Apollo, our EVM debugger (apollotrace.com).
Interface for AI agents pilot
A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server lets an AI assistant query Argos. Public demonstration on a Tornado.Cash case.
Your data stays where you decide.
Argos runs on your own infrastructure, or hosted by us. The core is EVM-generic: Ethereum is in production, other EVM chains are deployed on request.
On your infrastructure
For agencies and regulated teams that cannot send data to a third party.
Hosted by Functori
For teams that want to start investigating without running anything.
Datasets and analyses on request
Extracts and analyses derived from the Argos index, scoped to your question.
Built with research labs, used in a European law enforcement project.
Research-grade origins
Developed within a Bpifrance i-Démo consortium coordinated by Functori, with Tarides, LIP6 (Sorbonne Université) and LMF (Université Paris-Saclay).
In a European law enforcement project
Argos is the crypto-analysis tool of CryptoACTION, a Horizon Europe project with 17 partners including 8 law enforcement agencies.
Proved where it matters
One of Argos's detection algorithms is mechanically proved in the Rocq proof assistant, relative to transfer decoding, and was evaluated on 220,000 consecutive Ethereum blocks.
Before you ask.
Which chains does Argos cover?
Ethereum mainnet in production. The core is EVM-generic, so other EVM chains can be deployed for a project.
Can Argos run inside our network?
Yes. Argos is designed to be deployed on the client's own infrastructure.
Do you sell raw blockchain data?
Not as a packaged feed today. We provide datasets and analyses derived from the Argos index on request.
Who owns the investigations we run?
You do. On your infrastructure, nothing leaves your network.
How is Argos priced?
Per project or per licence, on quote. Tell us about your use case.
See Argos on one of your own cases.
Send us an address or a transaction you are investigating. We will walk you through it live.
